Developing Talent, Inspiring Passion: Becoming a Wealth Advisor
At North Berkeley, we prioritize the long-term development of our people. Every employee of the firm has a multi-year professional development plan which we update and review at multiple points throughout the year. We have a track record of promoting from within, and we like our people to advance with the firm.
We prioritize the funding of relevant professional credentialing for our people. We want our people to develop their interests, passions, and expertise. We frequently quote the old question of the executive who said: “What if I train my people, and they leave?” with the answer-in-a-question of “What if you don’t train your people, and they stay?”
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our advisor team with the ability to lead and support existing client relationships. This person will coordinate with other team members and external professionals to implement financial plans on behalf of clients. The ideal candidate will help the client feel supported, known, and calm about their financial landscape.
We offer comprehensive benefits including paid time off, all stock market holidays off, healthcare and dental insurance for employees and their immediate family, long-term disability, profit-sharing, 401k, free comprehensive financial planning and investment management services, time off to perform community service, and an on-site massage every three weeks!

“There’s a simple doctrine: Outside of a person’s love, the most sacred thing that they can give is their labor…Labor is a very precious thing that you have. Anytime that you can combine labor with love, you’ve made a good merger.”
– James Carville
