More About Ben
I became an advisor to help people plan their futures in a way that takes weight off their shoulders. When I think about personal finance, I think about letting people enjoy the things they love in life without having to worry about their money. Being able to build my career around enabling others to live their lives to the fullest is what brings me fulfillment.
Outside of work, I like to race my bike! I was always competitive growing up, I rowed crew and raced cross-country mountain biking in high school, and now as an adult, I enjoy road racing.
The best advice I ever received was to sleep on big decisions. This was something my parents instilled in me growing up. Anything that impacts your long-term trajectory in life deserves a second thought, even if you feel sure. Whether you apply this to investment decisions, family planning, or just the color you feel like painting your walls, anything long-lasting should be thought over thoroughly, and taking one extra night to think things through always helps me.
